Chamber Welcomes VAT Reforms – Price Reductions Coming on Some Items

The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture welcomes the Government’s decision to reform the VAT Act by reducing the VAT Exempt List and moving several items to the Zero-Rated category.

The First General Meeting of the Chamber since the Annual General Meeting of November 2024 was held on June 12th, 2024, at the CoCo Creole Hotel Conference Room, the Pavilion. While the attendance was decent, the substance of the Meeting was outstanding to say the least.
Chamber Executive Director, Brian Louisy, attended the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Indianapolis Indiana, June 2-5, 2025. Louisy joined thousands of participants from across the world who support entrepreneurship through their work.
The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, successfully completed of its four-day Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Workshop, hosted under the Elevate Program, from June 2nd to 5th, 2025, at the Chamber’s Conference Room, Orange Park Commercial Centre, Bois D’Orange.
