Navigating the Skills Shortages and Recruitment Challenges in St. Lucia HR Professionals from close to thirty Chamber Member Companies participated in the Chamber HR Connect where issues related to the challenges members have reported in recruitment of appropriate talent. The context for the event was presented as follows:

Dr. Jan Yves Remy, again demonstrated her understanding of International Trade Issues and an incredible ability to impart that knowledge in a practical easily understood manner.In a one hour webinar Dr. Remy skillfully articulated the real bread and butter issues involved in the America First Policy of President Donald Trump.

The First General Meeting of the Chamber since the Annual General Meeting of November 2024 was held on June 12th, 2024, at the CoCo Creole Hotel Conference Room, the Pavilion. While the attendance was decent, the substance of the Meeting was outstanding to say the least.

Chamber Executive Director, Brian Louisy, attended the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Indianapolis Indiana, June 2-5, 2025. Louisy joined thousands of participants from across the world who support entrepreneurship through their work.

The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, successfully completed of its four-day Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Workshop, hosted under the Elevate Program, from June 2nd to 5th, 2025, at the Chamber’s Conference Room, Orange Park Commercial Centre, Bois D’Orange.
