Event Description

St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce ELEVATE Program hosts “AI for Small Business”.

With the rise of Artificial Intelligence in all facets of life, and the potential benefits to be gained from its judicious use the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture is moving to ensure that its members particularly the smaller ones, who stand to gain the most, are not left behind.

The Chamber is thus pleased to announce Artificial Intelligence (AI) Training for Small Businesses, designed to equip entrepreneurs and small business owners with practical skills to utilize the technology to improve productivity, marketing, and decision-making through the use of easily accessible AI tools.

The training program, delivered by Orbtronics Ltd., will begin on Monday, April 13, 2026, and will run once a Week. The first and the last sessions will be in person from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., while the four sessions will be conducted online for two hours starting at 5:00 p.m. The program will consist of six sessions and will be delivered in a hybrid format, combining both in-person and virtual sessions to provide flexibility and hands-on learning opportunities for participants.

This initiative is specifically tailored for entrepreneurs, micro-enterprise owners, startups, and small to medium-sized businesses in St. Lucia, particularly those with little or no prior experience with artificial intelligence. The program will focus on practical, hands-on training using free and accessible AI tools that businesses can immediately integrate into their daily operations. Participants will learn how AI can support areas such as content creation, marketing, customer communication, research, and administrative tasks, helping businesses improve efficiency and competitiveness without additional costs or technical expertise.
