The OHADAC Regional Arbitration Centre (CAROCentre) and the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, inpartnership with the OECS, are pleased to inform you of an upcomingprofessional training programme on “Alternative Dispute Resolution forBusinesses: Practical Tools for Commercial Risk Management”, which willtake place on 17 September 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, at the Saint LuciaChamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
Thisprogramme is designed to introduce businesses to arbitration and mediation aspractical, efficient and business-oriented alternatives to traditionallitigation. Through a combination of expert presentations, case studies andinteractive workshops, participants will gain a practical understanding of howalternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms can be used to preventdisputes, manage commercial risks and resolve conflicts more effectively.
Ratherthan providing purely theoretical knowledge, the programme aims to equipparticipants with practical tools and the confidence to recognise when ADR canbecome a strategic business asset.
