St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce to Host BusinessContinuity Planning Workshop

TheSt. Lucia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its upcoming Business Continuity Planning Workshop, scheduled to take place on April 28th and 29th,2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Chamber’s Conference Room, Orange ParkCommercial Center, Bois D’Orange.

Thiscomprehensive training program is designed to support businesses instrengthening their ability to withstand and respond to a wide range ofdisruptions. In today’s dynamic and often unpredictable environment, it iscritical for businesses to be proactive, well-prepared, and resilient in theface of operational challenges.

Theworkshop explores Business Continuity Planning (BCP) as a key component ofoverall business resilience. Participants will be guided through identifyingand assessing the specific risks their operations may face, including cyberthreats, civil unrest, cash flow challenges, inventory disruptions, talentshortages, biological threats, and pandemics. The sessions will also focus onhow to conduct effective risk assessments, develop practical continuity plans,and implement strategies to reduce potential risks.

Facilitatingthe workshop is Mr. Andrew George, an ISO Certified Risk Management Trainerwith extensive experience in disaster risk assessment and business continuityplanning. Mr. George has successfully worked with organizations to identifyvulnerabilities and design effective mitigation strategies. His hands-onapproach will enable participants to actively engage in risk analysis anddevelop tailored Business Continuity Plans suited to their organization’sneeds.

Registrationfees are $800 for Chamber members and $1200 for non-members. Due to theinteractive format of the workshop, spaces are limited. Interested participantsare encouraged to register by April 15th, 2026.
