In response to numerous requests from smaller members and other MSMEs on island, the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture is hosting its signature programme; “Costing and Pricing.”
Originally under the “The Mind Your Business Development Series” this programme provides critical business management insights, tools, skills, and knowledge to operators of small businesses. This Course is in-depth and delivered in a practical guidance workshop style by a trained and experienced expert and professional, who will impart the critical know-how required by participants who can apply and implement them immediately. The programme ensures participants understand the critical tools and steps to arrive at the best price for goods produced and services provided by calculating and appreciating all costs involved which is critical to developing a proper price structure.
Proper costing and pricing ensure that businesses are competitive while remaining viable: two crucial aspects that must be skillfully balanced, especially in a competitive business environment where costs are escalating, and customers are increasingly price conscious.
This course aims to help business operators improve their pricing strategy by increasing their understanding and knowledge of this component of business management and operation, leading to greater efficiency, competitiveness, and profitability.
The course will run on Wednesday June 19th and Thursday June 20th , and continue from March 18th to 26th, 2025 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
The venue is the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture’s Training Room, on the 2nd floor of Bois D’Orange Commercial Center, Bois D’ Orange, Gros Islet. The Chamber seeks to host this workshop in the South of the island as well, for which further details will be provided shortly.
