The workshop brought together professionals and business leaders committed to strengthening their organizations’ ability to respond to disruptions and unexpected challenges.
Over the two days, participants explored practical strategies to minimize downtime, reduce financial loss, maintain operations during crises, and develop effective recovery plans to ensure long-term business resilience. The interactive sessions encouraged collaboration, strategic thinking, and proactive planning in an increasingly uncertain business environment.
Participants also shared positive feedback on the experience, with Fleur Simmons of the Inland Revenue Department noting, “Very informative, and I learned a lot that I will take back to my organization.”
The Chamber extends sincere thanks to all participants for contributing to the success of the workshop and looks forward to presenting certificates to attendees in the coming weeks. The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture recently hosted an interactive and insightful sales training session facilitated by sales consultant and entrepreneur Christian Paul. The workshop brought together business professionals from various industries to strengthen their sales approach and improve customer engagement strategies.
Throughout the session, participants took part in practical exercises and real-world sales simulations designed to demonstrate the importance of understanding customer needs before offering solutions. Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, Christian emphasized that successful selling is not simply about promoting products, but about building trust, solving problems, and developing long-term client relationships.
Topics covered included effective sales pitches, networking, cold calling, customer service, handling objections, and the importance of product knowledge. Participants were encouraged to ask deeper questions, listen actively, and focus on delivering value to customers rather than pushing quick transactions.
The training also highlighted the role of authenticity and customer experience in modern sales, with several participants sharing their own experiences and challenges from their respective industries. The interactive nature of the workshop created valuable opportunities for learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
The Chamber extends sincere thanks to Christian Paul for delivering such a dynamic and impactful session, as well as to all participants for their enthusiastic engagement and contributions throughout the training.
