This year's AGM, held under the theme “Building Resilience and Shared Prosperity in Uncertain Times,” reaffirms the Chamber's commitment to guiding and fortifying St. Lucia’s business community amid global challenges.

Moreover, with a powerful subject “Let’s Talk Trade: What the Business Community Must Know” being the topic to be addressed by Dr. Jan Yves Remy who will be the Feature Speaker, the Bank is keen on helping provide valuable information and insights on this critical subject to the Business Community.
Already some 18 persons have made known the willingness to serve on the Board. The Election of Officers and the presentation of Audited Financial Statements takes place in the closed session of the Meeting.
This Feature Speaker component of the AGM will include a presentation from two distinguished speakers: Dr. Jan Yves Remy, Director of the Shridath Ramphal Centre in Barbados, and Mr. Titus Preville, Director of the Caricom Single Market. Their discussion will focus on current trade issues impacting St. Lucia and the wider region, providing vital insights for businesses navigating today’s complex economic environment.
The AGM remains the Chamber's apex decision-making event, offering members the opportunity to engage with the Chamber’s leadership, contribute to future policies, and participate in the election of the Board of Directors. The election will appoint representatives who will lead the organization in its mission to support business interests and strengthen St. Lucia’s economy. All positions on the Board of Directors are open for election, with nominations welcomed both in advance and on the day of the AGM.

Held at The Harbor Club on Tuesday November 19th, 2024. The event was well attended and received outstanding feedback from attendees. Mr. Francis Fontenelle, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, and Ms. Gemma La Feuille Head of Research and Policy shared important updates on the country's economic performance, challenges, and opportunities, providing business leaders with essential data for their planning and management. There was almost one hour of interactive discussion, question and answers strengthening the meaningful engagement between the public and private sectors.
Shared Spaces is a group of young, likeminded individuals who have come together to speak on mental health. Their mission is "to raise awareness, provide avenues to resources and promote strength in mental health within our communities through impactful workshops, health fairs and school visits".
On November 20th, 2024, as part of GEW Shared Spaces successfully hosted their first collaborative event with SLYBT, marking a positive initiative. The activity took place in the Chambers conference room from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, bringing together students from three schools: Entrepot Secondary School, Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School, and Sir Ira Simmons Secondary School. The students were addressed by the Shared Spaces team, Mr. Keeghan Patrick Co-Owner of Orbtronics, Mr. Fabian Issac from SLYBT and Ms. Souyenne Hackshaw a Mental Health Specialist. The speakers spoke on the subject "Resilience and Well-Being: Tools for Mental Wellness in a Fast-Paced World".
