The 31st Annual Meetings of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) are being held from June 12th -15th, 2024 in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. This Meeting of Shareholders in the Caribbean, themed “Owning Our Destiny: Economic Prosperity on the Platform of Global Africa” will coincide with the 3rd AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF) and will assemble academics, renowned Caribbean and African business leaders, and policy makers to address the most topical issues confronting our economies and explore opportunities in both regions.
Further to this activity, Caribbean Export Development Agency is working with the Afreximbank to bridge the gap between the private sector in both regions with the aim of fostering partnerships and promoting reciprocal trade. To support these efforts, we are requesting clients/buyers from our territory who are interested in penetrating the African market. This activity will be key in supporting the ACTIF in the first instance and thereafter, the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) Buyer’s Programme scheduled for Algiers, Algeria in 2025.
